            <p id="isPasted">We are expanding our provision of technical education with new facilities scheduled to open in September 2026, which will offer industry-standard workshops and classrooms for our Electrical Installation and Plumbing provision. &nbsp;As part of our continued growth, we are seeking passionate and skilled professionals to join our team and help shape the next generation of tradespeople.&nbsp;</p><p>In this role, you will maintain and undertake simple repairs for the Plumbing equipment within the Section, assist lecturers in preparing equipment and resources for teaching and learning and ensure Health and Safety is complied with. &nbsp;You will also supervise students working in the workshops and in practical lessons (with or without a Lecturer present), instruct and support students and work closely with the other Technicians to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the area.</p><p>We are seeking someone who can demonstrate:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Experience gained within the Plumbing industry</li><li>Experience of working in a training environment or with young people</li><li>The ability to manage and monitor learners in a workshop environment</li><li>The ability to work effectively without supervision</li><li>Willingness to become a practising First Aider in the College</li></ul><p>You will be joining a supportive and inclusive organisation, with many opportunities for professional development and growth. &nbsp;We offer a range of benefits for staff including generous holiday allowance (29 days + bank holidays and additional college closure period), Local Government Pension Scheme, wellness platform, staff discounts, employee assistance programme and free car parking on all sites.</p><p>Please note, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Notice for Recruitment Agencies:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>HRUC operates with a managed service provider (MSP) for recruitment services.             <p id="isPasted">We are expanding our provision of technical education with new facilities at Uxbridge Campus scheduled to open in September 2026, which will offer industry-standard workshops and classrooms for our Electrical Installation and Plumbing provision. &nbsp;As part of our continued growth, we are seeking passionate and skilled professionals to join our team and help shape the next generation of tradespeople. &nbsp;</p><p>Reporting to the Head of School for Engineering &ndash; Technology and Innovation, in this newly created post you would provide leadership for a team of Lecturers, manage study programmes and develop provision across the Section. &nbsp;You would teach across a range of programmes according to your specialism. &nbsp;You would also continue to increase and develop our links with employers, which are integral to successful student work placements and course enrichment.</p><p>We are seeking someone who can demonstrate the following:</p><ul><li>Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or Heating (NVQ or C&amp;G Advanced Craft)</li><li>Full Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (DET or equivalent)</li><li>Successful teaching experience in Plumbing, preferably in Further Education</li><li>Curriculum co-ordination and development experience</li><li>Experience of improving teaching, learning and assessment</li><li>Experience of leading/supervising a team</li></ul><p><strong>Notice for Recruitment Agencies</strong></p><p>HRUC operates with a managed service provider (MSP) for recruitment services.
