            <p id="isPasted">Reporting to the Director &ndash; Foundation &ndash; Curriculum &amp; Support, as Head of School for Foundation for Harrow College&nbsp;you will provide strategic and operational leadership for learners with mild to complex needs, ensuring inclusive, high-quality provision and outstanding learner outcomes. You will lead and inspire a team of curriculum and support staff across both full-time and part-time programmes, driving excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment across all levels of need.</p><p>You will be responsible for curriculum planning, development, and quality assurance, including managing qualification changes and aligning programmes with local skills priorities, national SEND reforms, and the Preparing for Adulthood framework. We are seeking a Head of Organisational Development and Culture to provide expert strategic leadership for people capability, organisational culture and employee experience across HRUC.</p><p>Reporting to the Assistant Director &ndash; Talent and Reward and working closely with the Chief People Officer, the role spans three connected priorities: culture transformation; learning and workforce capability, including the 2030 Curriculum Workforce Strategy and a scalable leadership development framework; and employee experience and engagement, driving measurable improvements in performance, attendance and retention.</p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Leading the development of the 2030 Curriculum Workforce Strategy</li><li>Conducting workforce skills audits and developing a structured continuing professional development (CPD) framework, including digital and blended learning pathways</li><li>Scoping and designing a scalable Leadership Development Programme</li><li>Driving a culture transformation programme that supports HRUC&rsquo;s ambition to be the college of choice to work and learn and to achieve external Great Place to Work recognition, in collaboration with senior colleagues</li><li>Working with the Chief People Officer to implement wellbeing initiatives that improve attendance and engagement</li><li>Providing leadership and guidance to the Learning and Organisational Development Manager and the Employee Experience Manager, and their teams</li></ul><p>&nbsp;We are looking for a strategic, credible and delivery-focused leader who can demonstrate:</p><ul><li>Significant senior-level experience in learning and organisational development, culture change and/or employee experience, with evidence of translating strategy into deliverable programmes</li><li>A strong track record of designing, procuring and delivering leadership development and workforce capability programmes for senior cohorts, including blended and digital learning approaches</li><li>Experience of leading culture-change and behavioural-development programmes in a complex organisation, including influencing senior leaders and staff representatives</li><li>Experience of designing and leading an employee engagement approach, including survey delivery, insight reporting, action planning and measuring the impact of interventions</li><li>Experience of leading and managing people and delivering complex programmes at pace, including Board/EMT-ready papers, business cases and options analysis</li></ul><p>You will be joining a supportive and inclusive organisation, with many opportunities for professional development and growth. &nbsp; We offer a range of benefits for staff including generous holiday allowance (37 days + bank holidays and additional college closure period), pension scheme, wellness platform, staff discounts, employee assistance programme and free car parking on all sites.</p><p>HRUC operates across campuses in Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge. Our Foundation Learning provision provides high-quality education and support for learners with a wide range of learning difficulties, disabilities and additional needs.&nbsp;</p><p>Reporting to the Director of Foundation Learning - Curriculum and Support, in this newly created post you will be responsible for the management and quality of all additional learning support for High Needs learners at Harrow and Uxbridge colleges.&nbsp;</p><p>Main responsibilities of the role will include:</p><ul><li>Managing Additional Learning Support provision for High Needs learners within Uxbridge and Harrow Colleges and co-ordinating the delivery of support, with responsibility for all associated funding, claims and documentation.</li><li>Ensuring that learners receive the full range of support to which they are entitled and identified within EHCPs in a timely manner and to the highest of standards</li><li>Leading and managing a team of staff, providing them with the inspiration, direction and support they need to deliver outstanding learning support.</li><li>Delivering against all agreed performance targets for the area - e.g. those relating to Additional Learning Support funding, Adult Skills Budget funding and recruitment, retention, attendance and achievement for learners with support needs</li></ul><p>We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate the following:</p><ul><li>Degree and/or professional experience at an appropriate level</li><li>Proven experience of managing additional learning support, ideally in Further Education, leading to demonstrable improvements in learner experience and success</li><li>Experience of effectively assessing learners&rsquo; additional learning needs, accurately identifying support requirements and maintaining all associated records to the highest standard</li><li>Experience in working with Local Authorities and other agencies with regards to agreeing and negotiating High Needs placements and appropriate funding</li><li>Sound knowledge of Additional Learning Support funding and Adult Educational Budget funding relating to ALS</li><li>Strong knowledge of the SEND code of practice and experience of its implementation</li><li>Experience of leading teams and/or managing staff &nbsp;</li></ul><p>The postholder will be required to work at both Harrow and Uxbridge sites as required.</p><p>You will be joining a supportive and inclusive organisation, with opportunities for professional development and growth. &nbsp;We offer a range of benefits for staff including pension scheme, wellness platform, staff discounts, employee assistance programme and free car parking on all sites.</p><p>The closing date may be brought forward if we receive a sufficient field of applications.
