            <p id="isPasted">We are seeking to appoint full time or part time Learning Advocates, to suport learners with their GCSE and Functional English and maths, on a one-to-one or small group basis. &nbsp;You would support students both inside and outside of their classes, working closely with the English and Maths teams and vocational curriculum staff. &nbsp;This will involve planning support sessions and providing regular feedback to supported learners to enable them to develop confidence and make progress in their English and maths classes. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>You will need to have a good level of numeracy and literacy skills, and preferably have some experience of supporting young people with literacy/numeracy needs in an educational environment. &nbsp; You will have good communication skills, be well-organised and be able to motivate and build good working relationships with young people. &nbsp;This could be an ideal role for someone considering a first step into teaching.</p><p>We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Notice for Recruitment Agencies:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>HRUC operates with a managed service provider (MSP) for recruitment services.             <p id="isPasted">In this challenging and rewarding role based within our Learning Support team at Uxbridge, you will work directly with young people (Year 9 upwards) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and their parents/carers, to enable them to make an effective transition to Uxbridge College.
